The rooms are clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Next door is the Silverstream Hotel which was lively on a Thursday evening; full of locals meeting-up after work. The food was great. Should we have chosen, cooking at the motel would have been easily possible, everything was there. Would be a great base for skiing or walking in the mountains. The unit has lots of heating and blanket/doona options. The kitchenette facilities were very adequate so we drove 5 mins to Fairlie and bought supplies from the supermarket to cook breakfast. Warm rooms and comfortable beds with electrical blankets. Lovely garden to relax in. Good shower and bathroom. Friendly family run hotel. Liked the folder with local recommendations of what to do around the area (e.g the art gallery across the road).
