The location is highly desirable, with a picturesque drive. The establishment is clean, though improvements are possible. Roger, the owner, provides exceptional service and a warm welcome. The WiFi was not working when we were there, though.

    Complete isolation from distracting city life.

    Complete isolation from distracting city life. Stunning views. Great location for quietly exploring the wider area. The journey in might be a challenge for those only used to American freeways and quiet English country lanes but the Aotearoa bush and stunning scenery makes it absolutely worth it. The evening meal was substantial and very tasty. The environment and improvements being made at Lottin Point are a credit to the current ownership.

    Everything was perfect.

    Everything was perfect. Highly recommend to those looking for a quiet retreat amongst nature. Wonderful kind host, beautiful gardens and walks. Will make sure to go fishing next time. Pet dog ‘Matawhero’ would recommend taking him a treat, he’s gorgeous 🥰 Will be planning a trip back with my whanau 👍 best place to get away to rejuvenate wellbeing 😊
