I loved everything about Joy Source - the delicious organic food, the stunning views, the birdsong, the atelier, the peace, the spirituality and the beautifully designed accommodation. However what really made this place so special were the people in the community. They are some of the kindest most loving people I have ever met. Everything here is done with love, consideration and care for the community, the guests and the environment. I left feeling so loved and supported and will be returning. The breakfast was excellent. There was lots of choice as there would be in a nice hotel. You could order your eggs as you liked. The food was very good and well presented. The service was very nice.

The location is perfect in the middle of everything and the best part of Thamel right next to Marriott hotel. Staff and Manager were very nice, helpful and caring. The room was clean and comfortable. Room amenities were great, the room service from restaurant was very efficient and they even allowed us to store our extra bags free of charge when we had tto go to Pokhara and return a week later. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. They also provided one-way airport transfer free of charge,
