Everything was great! Marleen met me and gave me the keys. She was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. There were some complementary snacks: sugar-glazed almonds and two cartons with fruit juice. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean and had everything (a fully equipped kitchen, bathrobes (which were very om point, considering the fact the weather was very cold for the end of May, and it was a bit chilly in the evenings), a fridge with a freezer, a hair drier etc.) The neighbourhood is very safe (well, Urk IS a very safe city in general), there are two bakeries, a supermarket, a sweets store and a slaughter shop next door. The beach is a few minutes away by foot.

Very beautiful, cozy, and modern room. The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful, gladly answering all our questions in detail. We also received a welcome letter with helpful tips and information. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit. Perfectly located in the tulip region — we really enjoyed our stay!

Everything that you need in the cabin, playground and different activities for kids. 10 minutes walking to the centre where are all the shops and restaurants. This was my first stay in a camp ever and I have to say that I am very satisfied. I did a right choice and selected a small hut (1 night stay) and I felt very cosy in it. It is a great camp 2 km from Urk and midst fantastic nature, fantastically cared lawns and sufficient offer of food & snacks. Reception staff very friendly, you can order snacks at the reception and pick them up next morning for a fresh breakfast. A pity I could stay only 1 night but I had to go on (I travelled by car and did 4000 km in 8 days visiting 7 countries). There is also a pool and playground for kids and pony horses. And there are 3 beautiful cats in the camp going around. One of them was insisting and I let him in the hut and he jumped on a bed immediatelly to lie down. I like cats and please my request to camp staff: please keep some food and water for cats so they can eat and drink and enjoy in the camp, too. Thank you.
