Jacibe and Pepe are the best hosts ever! They rescued us when we ended up with a flat tyre on the road towards San Carlos, and were so amazingly kind. Truly made our stay amazing. The hotel is right at the beach, has everything you need and is very clean en very peaceful. Pepe and Jacibe offer all kinds of fun options for activities in and on the water too. We were sad to leave and would love to come back. Would 100% recommend this awesome place.

We had an incredible stay at this lovely place hosted by Alicia and Jose in Puerto San Carlos, Baja, Mexico. This small fishing village is a peaceful, charming, and truly enchanting place. While tourism has started to develop here, it still retains its quiet and authentic charm, making it a perfect getaway. The Airbnb is beautifully located along the Pacific coast, and we stayed in a second-floor studio suite. From the large terrace, we enjoyed breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Pacific sunset while listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean breeze and waves. In the morning, we were greeted by countless seabirds, adding to the serene atmosphere. The accommodation itself was excellent—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We also took part in the daily tours offered by our hosts, which made our stay even more unforgettable. One day, we went on a fishing and seafari trip with Captain Jesus, where we witnessed a humpback whale breaching less than 30 meters from our boat! We also caught plenty of fish and had the chance to enjoy fresh sashimi right on the boat. Another day, we went on a dedicated whale-watching tour to see gray whales. It was an absolutely mesmerizing experience—we saw so many of these magnificent creatures up close and even had the chance to touch them, which was truly exhilarating. Staying at this wonderful place was one of the highlights of our entire Baja trip. We will definitely return to this beautiful destination in the future!

The place seems to be newly renovated, taken care and nicely decorated. Alejandro is a really kind person :-) The hotel has a nice space for relaxing, and a shared kitchen in the courtyard, which is nicely decorated with many different shelles. The room is nice and the bed was confortable. Located at the entrance of Puerto San Carlos, you can have great whale watching tours either with Alejandro or other providers in town.

San Carlos is a great place for whale watching and fishing.

San Carlos is a great place for whale watching and fishing. We were able to do both with the Friendly Whale Tours company associated with the Whale Tours Hotel Vista Mag Bay... a fantastic day on the water provided by Juan Carlos and Pepe (from the hotel). We were very lucky to be at the right place at the right time with the right hosts. Thank you very much !!

San Carlos is a quaint Mexican town with friendly people.

San Carlos is a quaint Mexican town with friendly people. We came for the whale watch and booked through Magdalena Bay Whale Watching. It was very expensive for what the experience was, but glad to have done it. Jesus, who drove us to the start was a wonderful person...kind, caring and attentive. Our captain/guide was Christian and he was great, really trying to give us the best experience.....one close whale encounter and then just a lot of tail flukes as the whales were diving.....perhaps the wrong time of the year for seeing more whales. With that said, we did get a great dolphin encounter for 20 minutes, met local fishermen, lots of seabirds, saw sea lions and walked the beautiful windswept dunes. Had a great lunch at "Restaurant la Pasudita" when we first arrived.
