Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The apartment was super clean, spacious, and very well maintained. We received clear and easy instructions for access before arrival, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. The quiet garden with shaded seating was a lovely place to relax. A very charming apartment in a lovely town, located in an old, typical Macedonian building. It has Wi-Fi and everything needed for a comfortable stay. I had a fantastic stay at Vila Ana Marija. The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with lovely trails for walking and enjoying the views. Seeing the fireflies near the river at night was a magical experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed and offered great tips on what to see and do. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. Can't wait to come back!

Very nice hotel in the centre. Our room was large and clean. Private parking is just in front of the hotel. The hotel also has a good and inexpensive restaurant. Breakfast is included a choice from fixed options. Friendly staff.

I arrived here at the end of a 3-week trip through Albania and North Macedonia. I'm really glad to have rounded off my journey at Etno House Shancheva. It was really nice to come here as a solo traveller, and occupy a room actually intended for lone backpackers. I was the only guest, but the family were super-friendly and I was able to talk, eat and drink with them. Soulful times. I really loved Kratovo and staying here was a big part of why I enjoyed the place so much. It felt personal. l loved the spoonful of honey each morning! Also loved the crazy kittens, and all the insight into archaeology, food, Yugoslavia and local history. I felt like I was in very good company here. Thanks for the memories.
