The Select Hotel is probably one of the best in the city, if not the best. The hotel is pretty much new, the bed was so comfy and the room was extremely clean. The restaurant of the hotel is really good, just don't go there too hungry because the service is slow, worth the wait though.

Lovely hotel, located near the town as well as the beach in front of the hotel. Wonderful rooms, a nice garden, delicious food and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We can very much recommend the massage - it is great, and can be booked through the reception. The atmosphere is relaxed 😊 If it’s your first stay in Madagascar, you should be prepared that showers sometimes will not be hot. This was also the case the week we stayed. Another thing to be prepared for, is that Morondava is known for its fishing (and the processing of this). When the fish are laid out on the sand to dry, this can have a smell to it. But that’s not on the hotel, that’s just the people doing their job ❤️

Great hotel literally on the beach, with modern and new beach huts for rooms. Service was fantastic, for a small fee they arranged airport transfers and the a fine restaurant. The food was very good, the kitchen staff and hotel staff very accommodating also. A great place to just sit on the beach, or by one of two pools, or the outside restaurant and have an ice cold Three Horses beer.
