The staff were an exceptionally nice family. Helped with everything starting with a welcome drink and ending by hailing our bus down to the next town. They also arranged our safari for the cheapest price we had come by, with an excellent guide.

We can a 100% recommend this resort for everybody. Stayed here 2 days and the personal does absolutely everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food they serve is really tasty and there is a evening buffet that you certainly will enjoy. You can have a nice walk to create your own mini-safari. The owner, Roshan, is a really nice guy and helped us with everything. Booked an amazing safari as well with a driver who new the animals and their patterns very good allowing us to see them all. Nothing but praises.

The room exceeded our expectations. The beds were comfortable. The staff is very friendly and tend to all your needs. Dinner on arrival is plentiful and the safari is very well arranged with breakfast. We definitely recommend this stay of you want to do a safari in Wilpattu.

The owner and her family are such warm people that made us feel truly welcome. The food at the hotel was great! The hotel itself was close to the park, and had a very zen feel. The hotel has only been open for 3 months so everything was brand new. We booked a safari with the hotel and this was great as well, with an amazing breakfast to go. We would recommend it to everyone!

Hosted by a lovely family, really friendly and showed us around the local area. The evening meal was delicious, and were given juices and coffees also throughout the stay. Surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and perfect location for exploring the national park. Accommodation was newly built, clean and comfortable.

Roshan and his family really took care of us. Messaging us ahead of time with information about the safari, which was really well organised. We saw 3 different leopards, an elephant, a bear and many more animals, we were really lucky. On arrival we got some refreshments and a free upgrade for our room. Also Roshan and his family served traditional and local Sri Lankan food. We had an amazing stay.

The surprise fireworks finale as we cut into a decadent anniversary cake? Unforgettable. Their expertly guided safaris into Wilpattu National Park were the ultimate gift. Twice we ventured into the wild, witnessing an abundance of wildlife —nature’s raw beauty at its finest. The A-frame pool suite and balcony room were divine: sleek, spacious, and designed to immerse us in the forest. Soaking in the oval bath while watching monkeys swing between trees felt like living in a dream. Every staff member radiated warmth and professionalism, ensuring our celebration felt intimate and flawless. This isn’t just a resort—it’s a curator of lifelong memories. We were pleasantly surprised! This has been our best stay in Sri Lanka thus far. We hesitated at first due to the lack of reviews, but honestly, it's a diamond in the rough. Tucked into an idyllic natural setting (but keeping the many accommodations around it our of sight), the style reminds me of high-scale scandi / northern European architecture and everything is made with such good taste and kept so clean that it is hard to believe that you're coming from a dirt road. We stayed in the double bedroom upstairs, which features a beautiful wooden bedhead, great AC and ceiling fan, and the shower - the best one I've seen in my life. It's massive, open to the sky, sleek design and you can even see the view of the field ahead. Me and my boyfriend are working remotely and need speedy and stable wifi; this place has 2 routers (1:2 router-to-room ratio!) and the one upstairs worked flawlessly, even through videocalls on two laptops. Rushan, the owner, made everything easy for us - booked us a safari in Wilpattu park, prepared us breakfast to go, and booked us the driver upon check-out. A true master!
