The owner was so helpful and organised a guide for the rainforest almost as soon as we arrived for a great price! He also drove us to the bus station while we were leaving and gave us a lift for dinner which was so lovely! The view was absolutely amazing and was a very relaxing place!

Absolutely amazing owner and family. So nice and helpfull, made our stay one to remember. The place is tucked away in beautiful lush rainforest, rooms very clean and food was great. Glass room was amazing with clear view of all animals and nature. 10/10. Will come back.

We found this place by accident and it was one of the best travel experiences we ever had. This is not only an accommodation, it’s a magical place. Be prepared for Pachamama, Mother Nature at its best and Sanjey, host would be an understatement, he is the king of the jungle. This man made our stay an unforgettable experience. Natural Mystic is without question an amazing spot but through Sanjey the place becomes what it is! Accompanied by a lovely family who make the best authentic healthy food you find in Sri Lanka and let us feel not like guest but friends <3 This is Hotel California, you can never leave, a piece of your heart will stay there forever. My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights, wish we could’ve stayed longer! The villa is super peaceful, the hosts are very kind and welcoming, on hand for anything you need and the rooms were lovely and clean. We have been travelling for a while now, and this was the most peaceful, welcomed and at home we felt in a very long time. The bonus was the incredible food. We ate Sri Lankan food for breakfast, lunch and dinner as we wanted to experience it properly with some spice and the chef exceeded expectations. The food was absolutely incredible and possibly the best we’ve had in a very very long time. Everything was fresh, portions were extremely generous and super flavoursome. We recommend the room with a balcony as you can relax there for hours watching the birds pass by and they get pretty close. Very special. Thank you for being such great hosts and making it special for us!

Lovely guest house in nature but close to Deniyaya bus links. The family running it were very kind and helpful in arranging meals and a brilliant tour to the Sinharaja rainforest.

Absolutely the Best Way to Explore the Sinharaja Rainforest! This was our favourite place we stayed on Sri Lanka trip. This eco-lodge is hands down the ultimate way to experience the magic of the Sinharaja Rainforest. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear you’re in for something extraordinary. The location is beyond words—completely surrounded by lush rainforests, making you feel truly immersed in nature. It is so peaceful and quite - no noise from roads, traffic etc. The staff made our entire stay seamless and stress-free. They have a convenient car park in the nearby village, where they meet you and transfer you up to the lodge in a 4x4—what a fun start to the adventure! We stayed for two nights (but would have happily stayed a 3rd). The accommodation is spectacular. Large windows on every side of the room allow you to feel like you’re right in the heart of the jungle. Waking up to the incredible sounds of the rainforest was unforgettable, and we even spotted monkeys and exotic birds right in our room! Amazingly, you also get wifi in your room. The staff were outstanding, from the friendly restaurant team to the knowledgeable guides. On arrival, the Duty Manager, Mithun, warmly welcomed us, explained all the details about meal times, and helped us plan treks into the rainforest. They offer a variety of treks and provide you with a guide. They are also pretty flexible, We wanted a longer trek to explore more of the jungle and this wasn't a problem. The trek itself was a dream. We spotted an incredible variety of wildlife, including lizards, snakes, and a stunning array of Sri Lankan birds. The guides were so knowledgeable and enhanced the experience. Overall, this was incredible value for money. Running such a well-maintained eco-lodge in the middle of the rainforest can’t be easy, yet they make it feel effortless. If you’re looking for great value for money and an unforgettable way to explore Sinharaja, this is absolutely it.

The location and place is amazing, with great views, lots of greenery and birds around. Also, they have a shared kitchen to cook your own meals

You have to leave your car on a parking spot from where you're transfered few kms by a jeep. We haven't had any issues with the natural noise of waterfall and felt asleep as soon as our heads touched pillows. The house is simple yet comfortable. The hot water might have been a bit hotter though. Breakfast and dinner were fine. People working there are nice and friendly.

We were very pleasantly surprised for the price we paid!! Very clean tidy place, very good bed we had amazing sleep, best shower we had so far in all of Sri Lanka, very nice young man helping us with everything you ask for, very good food in big portions!! Nothing bad to say here I would very much recommend. Also because the bungalow is made out of clay, it’s quite cool!

Spectacular scenary, beautiful houses, friendly family taking care of it all, perfect guidance to the Rainforest, delicious food. Saman told us not only the name of the very many animals we saw but also explained us interesting things about them. He knows so much!!! He provided us with special "socks" and salt to protect us from leeches and when back in the hotel, he washed our boots himself before we realised it. So wonderful caring people! My man had problem in his back and he tool extra time so that he could do the tour without risks and didn't charge any more for the extra time. His wife Umesha cooked many different currys every evening to eat with rice. And breakfast was also delicious and different every day so that we could taste local specialities. We can absolutely recommend it!! Right now I am sitting in the terrace while watching a varan, peacoks, a fisher king and hearing the the sounds of nature. Heaven.
