I absolutely loved everything. The Yard is such a beautiful little gem in Hiriketiya. So stylish and nicely decorated. The room I stayed it had lovely evening light and I enjoyed the vibe in the house. The staff were so friendly and easy going. (Loved the real Ceylon Ice tea as a welcome drink) So flavourful ;-) Would totally recommend it. Ah, and there´s a little turtle in the garden. Too cute.

Our stay at the Grand Samudra Hotel was phenomenal to say the least. Meeting the incredible staff, Momo, Lahiru and Saman (and the sweetest puppy Kiki), made our entire trip to Sri Lanka so incredible. We felt like family at home, so comfortable, and taken care of - and the views from our room nestled in the most beautiful beach paradise were heavenly. Great breakfast everyday, comfortable rooms with good A/C and fan. On a quiet road so no traffic noise. The accommodation only has three rooms so it is not overcrowded. The staff are friendly and efficient. We used the pool a lot as we preferred this to swimming in the ocean.

Very detailed finishing of the hotel with a lot of attention to the design. Brittish style with a lot of authentic antique pieces. Nicest swimming pool we have seen in Sri Lanka. Amazing staff, so friendly. Perfect location for a few days to relax. Few minutes walk to the beach which was very quiet. We liked that the location didn’t feel touristy at all. Great pool, gym and restaurant. Very good value for money.
