The location was perfect, the food was exceptional, Staff - They were very professional and very helpful. Rooms are perfect to relax and well maintained property, which is very close to Gregory Lake, the hot spot. Price is reasonable, too. We will definitely stay here when we visit again. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The place is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. What made it extra special were the hosts, who treated us like their own family. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

The interior of the place was amazing as the place was somewhat of a modern wood home. The staff are also amazing as they were eager to help us and were super friendly. The dinner and breakfast exceeded our expectations and is one of if not the best food we had ever try. 100% recommend

This hotel is newly built and in an exzellent condition. It is friendly and clean and has beautiful english furnitures. European and American guest will feel just like at home! It is a perfect place to relax in a britsh luxury atmosphere and recover from exhausting traveling across the country. The climate is fresh and full of clean air. We want to say special thanks to the housekeepers Christy and Jegan who were amazing! They made us feel at home and helped us with every matter (even with a ironing). They are the nicest hotel stuff we have met during our 4 weeks stay in Sri Lanka. Our special tip for travellers: take a tasty cup of cinnemon tea which is handmade by Chef Kelum, the cook. The hotel is situated in a hidden place called "Little England" which is very good protected and you can feel safe and enjoy privacy. Christy and Jegan arranged very cheep tuktuk trips for us, to go downtown or to go to the central bus station of Nuwara Eliya, and we had a super driver: Ruha, he was reliable and always punctual.

Good location, cozy stay! Loved JL Grand’s central spot near Gregory Lake and Victoria Park. Staff were warm and attentive—our room had breathtaking lake views and was impeccably clean. Breakfast was continental, they were keen to bring you more if you asked, though Wi-Fi was weak in rooms. Ideal for exploring Nuwara Eliya’s charm! Staff was great providing the heater!
