The rustic charm and quirkiness of the treehouse exceeded expectations. The staff we’re fantastic and took us on a private safari in Udawalawe (about 25 minutes away) where we got so close to the elephants. They also arranged a guided canoe trip on the nearby lake - sadly no bathing elephants this time but plenty of other wildlife to see. The evening meal we had there was perhaps the best curry I have ever eaten and all of this at exceptionally good prices. We spoke to several people who went to Yala and spent far more, saw far less and didn’t seem get anywhere near the experience we did.

My stay at the Glima Eco Lodge was an amazing choice and I wished I could spent more time here. Roshani and her husband are such an inspiring and lovely couple. They treat you like you re a part of their family and serve you one of the best food I ever had in my LIFE! The Eco Lodge is so beautiful, it’s very clean and so cozy. The lake is infront of you and you can hear beautiful sounds of birds. The fireplace and the environment is so relaxing and you have the space only for you! The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in beautiful area and it's very calm and relax environment. I really enjoyed our safari tour with hotel owner. The accommodation was amazing! So comfortable and welcoming, everything we needed.. The owners made us a great chicken curry for dinner and excellent breakfast before wr left. Great hospitality. We would definitely stay there again. They also do safari trips.

Cute and clean huts with everything you need. The owners are also really helpful with organizing safari and transport. We had dinner and breakfast there and it was tasty and the portions were big. Would stay there again.

The stay was absolutely perfect! I wouldn’t change one thing about this place. We stayed for one night and from start to finish, the service and hospitality was exceptional, we were truly treated like family. The food was cooked fresh to order and absolutely divine, and we were fed until we couldn’t eat any more! The bed was super comfy and all the bathroom facilities were really good. The safari was great too. I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves one! The owner even called to speak to us just before we left to make sure we had a good stay!

Great hut with lovely private terrace, very quiet and relaxing after the busy cities. Host arranged a superb safari with breakfast and lunch included, we had a great day and very reasonably priced. Host was super friendly and we had a delicious dinner on the one night we stayed. They also arranged a cab for us to the next destination which was very helpful. Great value for money.

We felt very welcomed at this place, everything was really clean, rooms, surroundings,kitchen area.they have espresso machine👍If it will be possible we would've stayed longer.
