The host was very welcoming and attentive to our requests. The room was very clean including the sheets and towels. As the names says, this villa is located at the edge of the forest in a calm and serene environment which we really loved. Also, it is conveniently located just 10 mins by car from the main sightseeing spots (sacred city) at Anuradhapura. Highly recommended if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing and cozy stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Chaya is very friendly and helpful with arranging tours/anything else you might need during your stay. She is also a very good cook ;) The room was very clean, with good A/C, and the Wifi worked really well from the kitchen area (didn't work as well from the room we were staying in, but this wasn't a problem). Would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

We stayed just 2 Nights at Milan's little Oasis, but it was enough time to become good friends. Milan  spent a lot of effort to make our stay in Anuradhapura as comfortable and interesting as possible. His Garden in front of the lake is so beautiful. You can rent bicycles at his place and he will give you a map with many sightseeing options. The chef at his place is an amazing cook. My friend is vegan and he prepared us a delicious vegan dinner. He offered us an extra private tour by night, based on his favourite religious places in Anuradhapura, with a lot of information about its history and Buddhism.This tour was really unique and I highly recommend it. Nimal was really nice, hospitable and always willing go an extra mile, anything you need he will find it. He arrange a bicycle for free and went to see the temples around. Also companied me to see the sunset in his bike. He is a good man will take you to eat at local and cheap places. Thanks 😊

First: huge room as you see it , bed big and comfy, all you need is there. In addition the setting is perfect, far from main roads, it is quiet, no car noise, no pollution, immerse in a garden with Coco and banana plants, you wake up with birds singing. there are even the srilanka squirrels! Not sure the name.. Archeological park is far from town and huge, therefore you need a mean of transport anyway... But the most important thing were Ishani and her family. i was booking places for our holiday, when I saw this place and I decided that I was going to book all places run by local families, in order to know them more, the culture, the food. Also I know that srilanka people are very nice and I think they deserve to be known and to be rewarded directly. But I couldn't imagine we were going to feel so well here! They are all so incredibly nice. We had srilanka breakfast and dinner for the 3days prepared by them, great! I suggested them to set cooking classes! The big surprise was that they speak also Italian! So we chat in English and Italian! Leaving this morning was not easy, we felt at home. And I really wishto see them again. For sure we'll keep in touch. I don't think it'll be possible to match this great welcoming place during this trip.
