Everything was great! New bright rooms, huge windows, white bed linen, very comfortable beds, working air conditioners and WiFi, clean kitchen, nice showers. Large veranda for morning coffee. Boss Daminda and employee Jayaru have always been helpful to me.

The best part of this amazing journey was to be with a family and witnessing the dynamics of a Sri Lankan family. The room was very good and quiet. The house was very clean. Breakfast was very abundant and delicious The area is 15 minutes walking from Hiriketiya Bay. Nice bathroom There is a laundry service available for 700LKR per Kg.

The room was spotless, with a spacious and comfortable bed. The linens and towels were refreshed regularly, and the air conditioning kept everything cool and pleasant. The bathroom was well-equipped with a mirror. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge, kettle, utensils, and a stove, which made cooking easy. We’ve truly never met sweeter hosts, and this place felt like a home away from home!

Everything was perfect! The room was big, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The views of the fields was gorgeous, so much wildlife to watch form the balcony. The best thing about Mango Shade is the hospitality from the owners. A young husband and wife who welcome you in to their home. The home cooked breakfast is amazing and well worth having. The property is as pictured- clean, modern, has all the amenities you would need and a very comfortable bed! Fantastic location just 3-5 minute walk from Hiriketiya beach, yet away from the noise and in a peaceful location! Would highly recommend staying here!     Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of...

    Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, staff, and service were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fish made in various ways. The stay was made extra special by the attentive and friendly staff and they took every effort to provide us with the best service. Big thanks goes out to all the staff in the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping, and maintenance. We look forward to our next stay with you.

    I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs.

    I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs. Venture to any other hotels in the region and skip this hotel. Management was completely unsupportive to any of our needs - we showed up after a long flight to find out our rooms were not available at all and were told to go find another hotel.

    Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean,...

    Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean, which is always warm as five o'clock tea. Big swing, and a bar on the beach... all you need here is time. Time to relax, time to forget the road trip here, to forget that you have to go back to daily chores, etc. Just swim, sun bathe, sip, repeat!

    It's a very calm and chilled vibe. Not many beach boys bothering you. The villagers are super friendly. The beach is amazing. There's just something very special about this place. You have to experience it yourself to know.

    Of the 8 places we stayed in Sri Lanka, this was our favourite. What a treat to have a sofa, a tv, an indoor table and chairs, and our own pool! It was clean, so comfortable, and just perfect. It was also just a 1 minute walk from Dikwella beach, meaning we didn't even take towels to the beach, we just walked home when we were done. Oh, and there was also a washing machine! A life saver after travelling for 2 weeks with kids.

    Fairly cheap and located for easy access to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. The veranda area looking onto the garden is nice to be fair and if you need to work it’s a nice view. With so little effort they could improve the room- get on with it.
