Everything was truly excellent. The aesthetics of the resort are absolutely beautiful and calming, the rooms are nicely decorated and the bathroom is really spacious and clean. The bed slept super comfortable. Breakfast was truly delicious, coffee great too. Really everything was brilliant. Felt totally at ease staying at this resort. Wish we could stay longer!

I can confidently say this is a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, the attention to detail was evident. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, setting the tone for my entire stay. Great place to stay in southern Sri Lanka! Hospitality at the Jini House is topnotch — the host family are super friendly and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Great breakfast on offer. Pretty chill and green ambience. Good room with good amenities — the loose natural stones on the shower floor were a nice touch. The house itself is located in a calm and green neighbourhood in Ahangama, conveniently close to the beach but tucked away from (but close enough to) busy tourist hotspots like Galle, Weligama, and Mirissa. We ended up not venturing away from this part of Ahangama and stayed mostly along Kabalana Beach since we found the vibe here quite unbeatable compared to other beaches in the area — long and not-so-crowded coastal stretch with incredible sunset views, nice palm huts, surfing schools, and food options. 💯% recommended! We would come back again for sure!

Best accomodation and best hosts ever. We are so grateful to be your gests! Everything was just perfect. Perfect room, very clean, quiet, in European style. I did not see such rooms even in few times more expensive hotels in Unawatuna. Excellent breakfasts! We also enjoyed some specialties cooked by the hosts and it is so important when you feel like at home. They even gave as a present, a wooden elefant before our departure. We definitely recommend this place for everybody who comes to Unawatuna. 10 out of 10!

The owners of this hotel are wonderful the staff are lovely and friendly, the rooms are spacious with very comfy beds and sofas. Wi-Fi is outstanding. Swimming pool huge. Omelettes are perfect and great coffee. Monkeys can be seen in the trees from the garden and the location is perfect it sits only a short walk from jungle beach which has a great restaurant and the beach is beautiful and the village on Unawatuna with loads of amazing beach restaurants and little shops.
