Really nice place for my layover - yes, modern, clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, seems almost new…AC, coffee, balcony...owner left me fruit for breakfast! I wished I could have stayed longer but I needed to catch my flight. Thank you!

Ann's homestay lives up to it's name, you will feel at home. For me Anne and Cletus were my guardian angels who saved me, when I was at my absolute lowest. I had ended up sick in a country i did not know, so after being discharged from the hospital, my mum booked a room at Ann's guesthouse, so I could recover before the flight home. Words cannot describe the gratitude I felt when stepped through that door, and I was met with such warmth and an instant feeling of safety. The table was set with the most divine breakfast, and after not having eaten in 2 days this was a sight for sore eyes. The other guests were lovely and eating together there I finally didn't feel alone anymore. Anne and Cletus accommodated me and my specific needs as I was in a lot of pain and had dietary restrictions due to medications. They also helped me get hold of a specialist doctor on very short notice and drove me to my appointment. I still cannot not think of this without being moved to tears; how in a time of need strangers can become family and restore your faith. The food needs a special praise for itself, I've travelled all over the Caribbean but the food l had here is the best local food I've ever had. I still have dreams about that delicious home baked cornbread, and yummy fish cakes! Although i was too sick to explore the area, i was struck by the views of the piton and rainforest valley bellow. I would love to return one day and explore the area further. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to have an authentic homely experience of st. Lucian food, culture, people and nature.

The large rural apartment is well appointed to hotel standard. The bed is very comfortable and both bed rooms have tv's and good a/c.. The quality of the fittings and kitchen equipment is good. Essentials like salt pepper tea coffee and loo roll are all to hand. Plenty of towels. The hosts live nearby and are better than professional in their approach and being. The property was spotlessly clean. The property is rural but a short walk from the shop and to the exceptional breakfast included. This is where you can experience the real St Lucia and feel the pride Kennedy and Justine have in their island paradise.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Zamaca in St. Lucia, and it was an experience I will treasure forever. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the refreshing air that permeated the entire property. The location of Zamaca allows for a gentle breeze to flow through, making it incredibly pleasant and eliminating the need for air conditioning. It was a true delight to be able to breathe in the fresh, clean air and feel so connected to nature. However, what truly set my experience at Zamaca apart was the warmth and hospitality of John and Helen, the owners of the property. From the moment I met them, I felt like a part of their extended family. Helen's cooking skills are nothing short of exceptional, and I couldn't help but feel like I was enjoying meals prepared by my own loving and talented god-fearing aunt. Her dishes were not only delicious but also infused with love and care. John and Helen went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were always available to provide recommendations for activities and sights to explore on the island, ensuring that I had a fantastic time during my stay. Their genuine kindness and welcoming nature truly made me feel at home. In conclusion, Zamaca in St. Lucia offers a breathtaking view of the Atlantic, refreshing air, great conversations, and an exceptional level of hospitality from John and Helen. If you're looking for a place that combines natural beauty, comfort, and heartfelt warmth, Zamaca is the perfect choice. I can't wait to return and experience their hospitality again.
