Perfect stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. The owner Andy is super helpful as are his staff. Great rooms, well worth the price. Daily house keeping and bottled water, string air-conditioning, great views from the room and unusually for SE Asia, extremely comfortable beds. A buffet breakfast, with omelette/ egg station is served everyday on the stunning terrace, with plenty of freshly ground Laos coffee, juices and fresh fruit. Watching the sunset on the bar terrace (I think also open to none hotel guests), was one of the highlights if our visit to Don Det, by far the best place to watch on the island with a bottle of Beer Lao. The location is perfect, walking distances to bars and restaurants. Launday service also available. Will definitely return!

Such a stunning setting. The room fits the laidback island style perfectly. AC and shower worked very well which is good. The hotel restaurant is absolutely lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at Mr Tho’s bungalows. The location was peaceful and a out of the way of bars or loud music. Super Chilled with gorgeous views of the Mekong River. The food was delicious and affordable. We especially loved the energy of the place. Relaxed and family run. The feeling there was perfect. A truly memorable stay.     Very beautiful views, lots of bugs, traveled during low seasonso a lot of places weren't open. Great for bike rides and great bar near the docks / Adam's bar/ get secret menu or get the any desserts.
