The owner is really nice and helpful. He speaks English well. If one wants to stay in a very traditional Hanok right next to the temple I recommend going there. But it is not central and there are limitations on bus times.

We loved our stay in Tohyang House. The host is super friendly and brought us delicious mandu for breakfast :) We traveled with friends in a group of four (two couples) and stayed in a house with two sleeping rooms and bathrooms. We are very happy that we stayed in this Korean Hanok with beautiful gardens ! It is a quiet environment (you can hear nature), which we really enjoyed after a week in the buzzing city of Seoul. With a car you can discover some of the beautiful hiking trails in the broader area.

The front of house person spoke good English. The room was nice and big. Also quite. Very close to the local market and lots of good eating options. Also Homeplus only 8 mins walk away.

Charming little house down a very quiet street, has everything you need, plus a few nice extras coffee, water,cookies and noodles which was very nice. Kim is very friendly and helpful, gave us good information regarding things to see and do in Andong.

Ondol style room was fabulous experience, also had the most comfortable bed we've slept in all trip. Was sooo comfy in wish we could have this mattress in Australia! Great location, easy walk to many restaurants, shops, market.
