Comfortable rooms in a beautiful garden location, conveniently down the road from our departure to the Mara the next morning. Breakfast was included with our room rate and took the form of a generous ala carte offering, prepared to order, covering everything from avocado toast to a full English (both delicious). Cheerful friendly staff throughout our brief stay.

Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪 is a great city , the capital city of Africa, for entrepreneurs like me I see it as the silicon savannah of Africa! The city has everything u need for your comfort while traveling for business or personal holiday. The only thing you need to be careful with is ask prices upfront, then bargain if u can , don't pay for anything until u see and touch it , even hotel rooms... You have to see first and feel the vibe . Use reputable companies like Uber for transportation if u haven't hired personal vehicle, it's easier to report them through the App than just random guys , lastly don't walk around downtown alone at night , u might lose your items . Overall people are kind and welcoming, enjoy your stay 🛫✈️🏝️

I came to Nairobi after doing my Safari and so wanted only a quiet rest before ending my holiday. The resort I stayed in was a perfect fit for this. We booked a taxi for the day as this was the best way to get around the city during our short stay. Nairobi is a beautiful city however the authorities should review the time it takes a visitor to get entry into the national museum and whether the level of detailed information that is collected is even required.

Nairobi is a perfect place to visit.

Nairobi is a perfect place to visit. From the rich and vibrant colours and culture, to the natural beauty and access to national parks located right next to the city. The sandy beaches of the Coast are only a few hours away by train or an hour by flight. You will never run out of amazing things to do while in Nairobi.

Nairobi is over rated. It is a typical African country.

Nairobi is over rated. It is a typical African country. Don’t let the tall buildings in Nairobi fool you. It is a third world country. I went to Kenya to see if I could retire there. But after going, I know that I could never live there. I even canceled my appointment with the real estate lady. The people are struggling. Lots of people on the streets trying to sell you something. The roads are dirty and sidewalks even worst. Traffic is ridiculous. People missing each other with their cars by inches. They built a nice freeway there, but they charge a small toll to drive on it and most people can’t afford to pay it. So the freeway traffic is smooth and quick. But the traffic on the street where most of the people drive is a nightmare. Lots of people in makeshift places selling their goods. This was my 18 trip to Africa. I really love Africa. But I didn’t care too much for Kenya. So many other countries in Africa are better than Kenya. If you go, go there for a particular purpose. Like going on safari. But be warned, it can be a little pricey, but well worth seeing the animals. Which I may do if I come again. I would like to check out Mombasa too. The giraffe center is a must see. But the Kibera slums will depress you. You will stop complaining about your life. It will make you appreciate what you have at home. But I needed to see it. Oh, and go to the Westgate Mall and surrounding area. That was not bad.

As an Asian woman traveling alone I got starred at a lot…and when I was at the food court or a store, they were pressuring me to buy their products. I know I can just walk away, which I did but they will follow you. I would say this place isn’t ideal for solo traveler. But I did join a group tour and some day tour which was great.

Spacious room with a great layout (was in a superior room), modern aesthetics, furniture and fittings, good water pressure, and hot water in both shower and sink. Great buffet breakfast with many tasty food options and juices - scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Great location in the heart of Westlands with easy access to areas within Nairobi. A modern and fresh looking hotel with friendly staff who were kind and considerate to allow me a later check-out. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything. It was affordable, the bed was clean and comfortable to sleep in, and the bathroom had proper cold shower. I actually stayed on my first 2 nights in Nairobi, before I travelled to other cities across Kenya and Tanzania. And when I came back to Nairobi to spend my remaining 3 days there before leaving Kenya for good, I booked the hotel again because of my overall positive experience there. It's also in the centre of downtown Nairobi so finding transport and food was easy.

The apartment is small, but has everything you could think of. Even a microwave and washing machine. It's in a fairly safe area. The security personnel are very friendly. There is a nice rooftop restaurant on the 18th floor. Location is good in the Westlands. The quality of living is well above par for a city like Nairobi. I'd probably consider staying here again should I pass by.
