United KingdomThis is an experience we won't forget! The campsite was beautiful. The facilities are not only functional and eco, they're beautifully designed. The shower and toilet with a view are not to be missed. The hot water is fetched from the natural hot springs, so it really is eco. Just don't spend too long in the shower to respect others wanting a hot shower. Our tent was spacious, and with sufficient privacy. We re-packed everything into one suitcase to avoid taking two big suitcases into the tent for the couple of nights we were there. The staff were very helpful, and explained everything in the camp well. We enjoyed all the food, the culture visits, the tours, learning about Maasai life, and the whole experience. I read in a guide book that it's 'put-on' for tourists but the majority of the staff are real Maasai although they're perhaps of the generation that is now schooled, etc. they still know a lot about their own culture and will happily answer any questions to teach you about their lifestyle.
