The host and other guests were very friendly and fun to talk to (a very friendly guest brought me to see the train station and even invited me to join him the next day to visit the famous Nukanan station nearby, and I talked motorcycle touring with another), the surroundings were beautiful, and it was affordable. I accidentally let the cats slip out when I was leaving but the host was really cool about it too.

The onsen. The traditional style Japanese room. Very clean and comfortable. Free drinks machines. I was travelling by bicycle so they had a proper bike storage area with racks and pumps so I could check my bike over.
