The staff were all welcoming and we managed to resolve language issues with no frustration. The suite (not room) was huge. You could almost live there. There was a small refrigerator under a freezer, a microwave and single stovetop. I only used the microwave. There were no plates, utensils etc, but you can ask for things at reception, so maybe these items too. The bathroom is enormous and while I am not a bath person, I used the large bath many times. Perfect after skiing. Breakfast had a good variety of Japanese and western options. There is a restaurant/bar for evening meals, although closed on weekends. Parking was free and right at the door. There are multiple EV charging points (not needed for my vehicle). It was quiet and warm.
