This was my second time staying at this hotel, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. After spending a few chilly nights in Petra and Wadi Rum, it was such a relief to return to a warm, cozy room where I could enjoy a hot shower and truly relax. The room temperature was perfect, and the overall comfort really stood out. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options, and the cleaning service was very thorough. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

The first thing I liked about the hotel was the staff’s treatment of customers, especially the reception staff, their good manners, kindness and respect. The second thing I liked about the hotel was the tidy and strong security system. Special thanks to the security employee, Ziyad Al-Sardi

The service is amazing and the hotel is in the heart of the city. Everything is close nearby, hashem restaurant, habiba sweets,… On top of that, the hotel proposes organised trips all around the country with a driver who brings you wherever you are. We are very happy with the driver who knows the city and the country by heart and is very kind and experienced. We don’t have to stress about where to go or how to do it. Thank you to the staff of the hotel and to the driver Saber.

The Single room is quiet small, but very comfortable. The Hotel is in a great Location. You can reach most of the sights by foot. The staff, especially Mr. Zein (I hope I spelled it right) was going above and beyond! Since I was travelling on my own, he gave me recommendations on a lot of things and even the opportunity to call him, whenever I should get in trouble or need assistance of any kind. I was there in the hottest period of time, so they even offered me to keepy room for to more hours ao that I can escape the worst heat. I have rarely had such a nice and helpful receptionist! I rarely felt so welcome in a hotel as here! I would book it immediately again. Thank you for a great start to my journey through Jordan!

This was our second stay here. We had a lovely time. Friendly staff. The pool was open - bit chilly still but lovely to sit outside and relax after sightseeing. The drivers we had from the hotel for airport transfers were excellent. Front desk / room service / housekeeping staff etc were also very friendly and helpful. Having a lounge area and kitchenette made the difference. The free laundry facilities are a superb touch.

FAQs about hotels in Amman

Forward-Thinking Royal Capital

The rapidly expanding Jordanian capital, Amman is an economic powerhouse spread over various hills. Atop one sits the Citadel, containing remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church and an 8th-century mosque and palace.

Also here is the Jordan Archaeological Museum, and at the foot of the hill is a Roman theatre, part built in the rock. Modern housing blocks surround it, but the most avant-garde architecture is in the developing Al Abdali business district.

The tallest Amman structures will be the Jordan Gate Towers and will house one of the city’s high-rise hotels. International brands of restaurants and bar can be found alongside more traditional cuisine in Amman, and many eateries are in the large Mecca Mall and Grand City Mall, which also has a cinema.

Nearby is the desert-like vegetation of Al Hussein National Park, and the Royal Automobile Museum which features cars of King Hussein, ruler for over 40 years and after whom are named city sights such as the King Hussein Business Park and mosque. The King Abdullah I Mosque has a beautiful blue dome, while Abu Darweesh Mosque at Amman’s highest point is a striking black-and-white structure.

Booking.com’s Amman accommodation includes 5-star hotels, apartments in the embassy district, and cheap hostels, all within easy reach of Queen Alia Airport.

I love the people, food, culture and the experiences of being in Jordan, but the capital clearly has a pollution problem. If there were ever a valid argument for implementing climate controls and restricting traffic in capital cities, one need look no further than Amman. I would encourage the authorities to invest in renewable energy and think about switching to sustainable forms of transportation. The natural ecosystems has been destroyed there.

Jordanians are full of fun and a trip to Rainbow Street is a great way to see their vibrant lives, to dine with locals in one of the many restaurants or haggle in a silver shop. There is an abundance of cultural things to do. Citadel, amphitheater, mosque and museums. Even if you not a fan of museums, the Museum of Jordan is brilliant. Interactive, educational and entertaining. Amman is a bustling city, very hilly but inexpensive taxis are the best option to get about. (Use uber to find best prices if you want to avoid haggling). 3 days simply isn’t long enough.

Amman has much history that is well worth exploring. The panoramic view from Amman Citadel is wonderful and should be on every visitor's agenda. It is an affordable destination, the people are friendly and helpful, and everything just works. Having arrived after visiting Cairo, the difference is vast, and a refreshing change. I'd strongly recommend Amman and Jordan as a travel destination.

The location, bed, wifi connection, the price were the only good things during our accommodation and to a certain extent the breakfast as well. Prior to our arrival to Amman we booked this hotel in two parts the first part was for 4 nights and continued our journey to Aqaba and booked the same hotel for the last 2 nights, as our flight was from Amman. This was all done prior to our arrival to Jordan, so we had no real insight of the hotel - only the photos and the reviews.
