The host is both helpful and easygoing, with a straightforward manner that — combined with the peaceful atmosphere and setting — creates the unique feeling of a mountain refuge at the end of the world. There is plenty of nature all around, with animals freely roaming the area and the authentic rhythm of farm life unfolding in parallel with the guests' peaceful stay — a rare and genuine experience. The menu may not be extensive, but every dish is excellent and absolutely worth trying.

Wonderful hosts, both Giullia and her daughter were very welcoming. The breakfast is fantastic (especially the home made tart) and Gragnola is a lovely, medieval village. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.
