It was a very pleasant stay! The room was well-equipped and warm, with a balcony offering a beautiful view of the mountains. Dear Hotel Vigelhof, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel! Your staff's attention to detail is remarkable, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy. The spa facilities and breakfasts were outstanding. The outdoor pool with its perfect temperature was simply amazing. Everything was literally wow. A note about location: while the hotel sits along a road and street-facing rooms might experience some traffic noise if you're sensitive to it, the majority of rooms face the inner courtyard and mountain view, providing complete peace and quiet.

The food was fantastic, we were there out of season so the hotel was quiet. the hotel is very original from build but has all mod's and con's you need. The cosy bar, pool and spa is all lovely.

    I believe that Alpi di Siusi (seiser Alm) is an amazing...

    I believe that Alpi di Siusi (seiser Alm) is an amazing place worth seeing. The Paula and Hans Steger round way is really scenic and gives off those cosy ghibli - heidi vibes. There was a lot to see, the roads are generally well managed and well marked. There definitely is some elevation, so come with decent hiking shoes and enough water/snacks to tackle it. There are enough benches along the entire round way to rest upon, and there are also a few Alms (refuges) where you can grab a drink or use the lavatories. The entire route offers scenic views upon some of the taller peaks surrounding the seiser Alm (like mount Schlern, or Seceda in the far distance) as well as beautiful flower covered meadows. At some places you can find lifts which take you up or down the meadows for a fee. We stayed in a small resort town called Kompatsch. You can get there by getting to Siusi at the foot of the mountain, leave your car at the parking garage next to the cable car station, and take a cable car up to Kompatsch. (the road to Kompatsch is closed from 9am to 5pm for the general trafic) There are mostly hotels, with a few sporty stores and restaurants as it mostly caters to the skiing scene in winter. (we were there in summer) The restaurants there generally close their kitchens at around 16:00, but you can still get a warm snack if your hotel does not provide a dinner. Also pay attention to the open/close time of the cable car stations, in the summer they operate from 8am until 6-7pm)

    Fabulous spot.

    Fabulous spot. The cable car takes you up to Compatch where there are dozens of walks to suit all ....from easy to challenging. The views are stunning. Lots of facilities ....shops/ restaurants/pharmacy..even buses....

    A small charming town with magnificent mountain views. Ortisei and the Val Gardena valley are just 20 minutes away, making it a very convenient place to stay. The prices are also pleasant, unlike in Ortisei itself.

    Siusi is a great little village with everything you need.

    Siusi is a great little village with everything you need. A free bus to the ski hill was a bonus. Residence Erika was a fantastic choice. The staff were lovely, the breakfast fantastic and there’s a sauna too !

    Siusi is a good launching spot for exploring the stunning...

    Siusi is a good launching spot for exploring the stunning Seiser Alm. The cable car is conveniently centrally located, with ample parking or you can walk to it from pretty much anywhere in Siusi (or there are buses for 3 euros). There is a decent and popular restaurant with a nice, large patio at the cable car building. As of June 2024, cost for the cable car was 17€ per person one way, 26€ round trip. Hiking and biking (rentals available) around the Alm is spectacular, albeit busy in some places near the various cable cars. Siusi itself seems to be a satellite of Castelrotto, which is only a few minutes away by car and has restaurants and grocery stores and shops; Siusi itself is small and more of a neighborhood, but the views are great and it’s quiet and pretty.

    Siusi will take your breath away, literally.

    Siusi will take your breath away, literally. Like something out of a fairy tale, you couldn't imagine a place like this exists without seeing it for yourself. If it isn't at the top of your travel bucket list, I highly recommend you add Alpe Di Siusi to it today ;).

    Villa Rier is one of the best and comfortable stay in Alpe di Siusi. Check in process was seamless and the room was super cozy and sparkling clean, not to miss, the view from the room was breathtaking. The breakfast spread was enormous and luxurious. Everything was so tasty. The two girls (staff) taking care of the spread were polite with a smile on their face all the time. Blindly book this stay if it's available!

    Amazing hospitality, we felt very welcomed when we arrived and were well taken care of during our stay. The included four course dinner was very tasty, and so was the breakfast buffet. Nice, clean room with a small balcony to enjoy the view. Five minutes away from Alpe di Siusi cable car. We would absolutely consider staying here again if we ever come back to the area! ⭐️

    Wow! The best hotel experience! We booked just a double room, but we were upgraded to a bigger room with a terrace and a stunning view. The room was perfect, and the pool and spa were amazing. Definitely recommend!
