I can only recommend to spend time at Le Fonti. On my bikepacking tour from Munich to Rome I stayed for one night and enjoyed a great dinner with ingedients from the Garden - delicious! The area and the garden is really beautiful. I will hopefully come back and spend more time there.

We loved the garden which we could use to sit outside. It was so easy to get to Florence, we caught the train or bus which was only a few minutes walk as was the huge supermarket. We could park right outside the door. The room had everything we needed. The host was friendly and easygoing. There was even a turtle living in the garden which was adorable. I would recommend it if you don’t want to contend with parking and the prices of accommodation in Florence…and you can say you’ve stayed in a medieval tower!

Adriano, the host, is always available, attentive, considerate, and helpful with anything you need... The apartment is in a perfect location!! Just 5 minutes from the train station. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants!! Close to shopping centers (including a large supermarket). In short – a fun and enjoyable Italian experience!! The place is absolutely lovely!!!     Fantastic host, comfy bed, historic building just 40 mins from Firenze. Lovely little town with plenty of places to eat and enjoy. The tortoise in the garden and the wood fired grill were added bonuses.
