Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated, and great communication with hosts - they couldn't have been more helpful! Only a 5 min walk down to the lake, and a short drive to Menaggio - a great place to explore Lake Como from.

Nice, clean apartment. We stayed in winter and the heating worked very well. A small beach is only 100 metres from the apartment. We mostly hiked and for us the place was perfect. There are some small shops in Acquaseria. For bigger shopping you have to drive a bit further. The apartment and kitchen und was very well equipped. We were only able to park direct beside the apartment one day, but there is plenty of parking nearby. We were very happy with the apartment.

    Acquaseria is a quiet village about 10 minutes north of...

    Acquaseria is a quiet village about 10 minutes north of Menaggio. It has only a few bars, restaurants, butchers/bakers, a post office, and a small shop. If you expect a bustling cafe or nightlife, you won't find it here. However, the local bar and restaurant offer good food and drink. For more bustle, I suggest Menaggio to the south or Cremia or Dongo to the north (all about a 10-15 min drive away). San Siro is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Lario view and the beach, for swimming and sunbathing, or if you want to hire a boat to view the lake from the water, I recommend getting in touch with Mattia from Nautica Starline, who offer the best service and prices. I hope you enjoy Acquaseria as much as we did.

    Acquaseria is a convenient and quiet area and it is a 10-minute drive from Menaggio which is a cute little town with restaurants and a plaza to relax. In Menaggio, you can find a ferry to go to Bellagio and Varenna. Bellagio and Varenna are bigger towns with way more tourists. Around Acquaseria you will find many places to rent a boat to be right on the lake. Nice restaurants all around the area.. I believe renting a small car is a must. We visited the nice luxurious hotels and villas and relaxed having drinks in different ones... the whole area is just beautiful. The area has some historic sites.

    The village Acquaseria is situated just above Menaggio which is great to visit. It has a few restaurants (one on the like side), bars and small shops like small grocery shop, butcher, greengrocer, wine shop and more. From here you can pay a visit to Como down south but also to discover the north side of the lake or visit (by car) Varenna, Porlezza or even a visit to Lugano and Milan.

    The hosts were very helpful and very pleasant.

    The hosts were very helpful and very pleasant. The accommodation is right on the lake shore, with a garden overlooking the lake. Everything was great, the kitchen equipment, both the bedrooms, the cozy living room, both bathrooms (bath and shower). Nice location. Parking in front. Strongly recommend this accommodation.
