The guesthouse is located in a quiet neighborhood, with spacious and clean rooms. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped. A huge living room with tables, a sofa and armchairs, perfect for dinner and relaxation. Lots of space even with many guests. In my opinion the atmosphere of a family home.

We sipped coffee from bed, read books, and soaked in the outdoor hot tub with a glass of wine. It was the perfect place to press pause and reset. When Iceland’s unpredictable weather puts a stop to sightseeing, Glacial Glass Cabin becomes the destination in itself. This apartment is amazing. Everything is well thought out and super clean. The panoramic views from different sides are stunning. The rooms are warm and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, which is very convenient. The owners also have a stable with cute horses. Overall, it's a great place.

The hosts were super friendly. They waited for us late in the night to hand the keys and tell interesting things about the place and Iceland in general. They had prepared hot-tub for us, and we enjoyed it a lot. All our friends were super impressed by their knowledge and would have loved to stay longer and learn more about the country from them.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in. Very rural place with amazing hosts. We could see the horse farm and have met the horses. House was very spacious with everything you need to spend amazing holiday. We were lucky to see Northern Lights just outside the house 😊 highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gaukshof! 🌟 The property is full of charm, with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy , perfect for a relaxing night after exploring the area. The location is great, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby sights. Everything was great – we were very happy with our stay. We chose the farm because of its location, on the way to the Landmannalaugar. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. The owner was kind, welcoming, and attentive. He offered us a tour of the farm, which includes a stunning canyon and a herd of horses we were allowed to pet. Staying at the farm was a wonderful choice – we’d be happy to come back again.
