The house is completely new and modern, and most photos don't show the truth (as of september 2022). It's much better than expected. I was expecting to make my own bed as many reviews talk about (which would be totally fine), but that was not the case. We only needed to clean the kitchen, as in every other place. Appliances were great, with space enough, comfortable room and beds, nice bathroom(s). We saw the owner briefly and he seemed nice too. Can't evaluate how it would have been with other guests since we were the only ones, but the walls seemed solid enough.

Location is very scenic and perfect base for accessing all the points of the western fjords. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and more. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. We had a wonderful, perfect stay.

Easy check-in and friendly staff. Good kitchen (though I could imagine it gets crowded during the high season), plenty of seats. Nice living room with a TV (they setup Eurovision for us). Comfortable bedroom (albeit cozy). Clean bathrooms and plenty of towels.

Modern, clean rooms finished to a high standard. Continental breakfast included porridge and waffles. Dinners very high quality. The location is stunning and worth the long drive to get there. Incredible scenery en route but would not recommend the drive in wintry weather. Perhaps consider the ferry which docks very close to Hotel Flokalunder. The rooms, food and homely atmosphere far exceeded our expectations.

Even though check in was late we were allowed to leave luggages In our room early on. The staff was very helpful and even provided a packed sandwich for breakfast since we were leaving early. Lovely views and clean.
