I had a room in the former cowshed with my own bathroom. Beautiful room, friendly staff and lovely meals. Off the beaten track -makes Nyp a special place to stay.

The staff were attentive and the owner was gracious with warm and inviting hospitality, making you feel like family. The fish and lamb dishes were made with local ingredients and presented beautifully. The desserts were made with locally sourced ingredients too. A great incentive was the hot bath right outside of the hotel, within a pastoral and rural setting. We will be coming back again. Very generous and warm place.

We were welcomed by a friendly host who was a pleasure to talk to. Great hotel with nice rooms in pristine condition. There is a waterfall just 10 minutes behind the hotel which is nice to walk to. Dinner was great with a la carte options and we also enjoyed a great breakfast as well.

The guesthouse is located in nice surroundings, there is a mountain on the left and ocean in front of you. The staff was very nice, facilities clean and comfortable . I do recommend staying here.

The views from the front door of the cabin were astounding. Location is wonderful if you're traveling in the Westfjords. Kitchenette was perfect for us - sweet and tidy and all around lovely.
