Very nice little guesthouse in a quiet area and yet close to the main road. Very clean and well organized. I was lucky to have a double bed in a single room. There are two bathrooms to share and plenty of towels. Well equipped kitchen

Spacious comfortable room. Good hotel. Relatively close for glacier excursions near diamond beach. Easily accessible. Enough parking. Helpful and friendly staff. It’s a big complex with a lot of rooms, but we liked the (family friendly) vibe around the complex and in the halls to the rooms.

The place is bright, neat and tidy. The shared WC is clean and was in perfect condition everyday. The breakfast was perfect! You got everything you need to recharge. The host made some homemade banana cakes, I ate alot! I miss the tea during our first night of arrival. it was cold and the tea was hot!

Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). Everything was as in pictures and description. Very clean, nice and comfortable place to stay. Check-in & check-out was very smooth. Host was very proactive and gave timely/useful instructions. Recommended to stay here and for sure will stay again next time.
