The welcome in Janardana was very friendly and professional. The hotel and the room were the cleanest one we had in India. And we know a lot of hotels in India. The service was also great. It felt very good to stay there. To the Udupi temple komplex it is just a short walk. And the nice Triveni Restaurant is even closer. You will enjoy your stay!

    The day when we went was a auspicious day and the Udipi Sri Krishna temple was fully crowded, but we still had darshan through special entry. Beautiful place with lots of people and divine environment. Our stay was at New Century Executive, Udipi. We were 10 persons and booked 3 rooms. All the rooms were neat and clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable for all. Staff cooperation was excellent.

    Excellent city with reasonable facilities for inside travel like Autos and good Vegetarian restaurants. Great culture of Autorickshaw who charge only as per the meter and absolutely no bargaining or hassling.

    Who am I to even speak about this Spiritual town of Lord Krishna. It's a beautiful Coastal Town and people are Traditional with a Modern Mindset. You'll find they are pretty advanced. You get everything here. Temples Beaches Shopping JUST GO AND EXPERIENCE UDUPI. SOAK YOURSELF IN THE BHAKTI OF LORD KRISHNA..

    Didn't get much time to explore the city or nearby areas due to time constraint. But it is a typical sleepy, interior town, as u are likely to find in every state in India. It has all the modern things available in the city including few malls and shopping centers. There is a famous Krishna temple which one must visit here. Also, there are many beaches one can go to, being on the coastline.

    Visited SRI KRISHNA Mandir in Udipi. It is a must see place .Made daiy trips to Shrigeri Sri Sharada Maata Temple and Hornadu. Shrigeri Temple & Annapurna Devi temple at Hornadu were must see. The route to Udipi-Shrigeri - Hornadu- Udipi is very beautiful.
