Quiet and well-kept, we experienced special hospitality at the GOKUL Farm House. The hosts were very concerned about our well-being; warm, helpful and attentive; The freshly prepared, rich food is a poem at every meal! Our ensuite room was simple and clean. Nice & delicious breakfast spread out. Good personal care by all the waiters to serve us piping hot food. Good advice by Adalat & Zail for the dinner menu & sightseeing at Girnar. Thanks to the GM of Taj Gir Serai -Rajeev Chandran for helping us for the safari and receptionist (Asim Maity). Highly recommended stay. This place is just 2 mins from the safari booking. Beautifully nestled inside the forest. Feels like a homestay for relaxation. All the staff were extremely warm and polite.

We had to book this property at the last minute due to some horrible experience with another property: Highlights being: 1. The property manager was very prompt in supporting us with the booking 2. The property is located amidst the forest and gives you a good ambience 3. The room was fairly large in size and clean 4. Washroom was clean and hygienic 5. The property manager- Lala was extremely helpful 6. The food menu had limited items but each one of it was lip smacking 7. No non-veg- but you dont miss it. The veg food, kathiawadi food, gujarati food- all of it is delicious 8. The entire staff is so accommodating- we had to leave at 5.30 am and they took all the trouble to cook us a full breakfast [theplas, puff, cookies, toast, tea etc] 9. The usual problem of bedsheets, towels etc not being utterly clean makes us carry our own stuff, but here everything was super clean. 10. They lit up the bon fire for the residents at night 11. they have games within campus in case anyone is interested- badminton, carrom etc. A must stay- if in Gir

This is an excellent choice if you want a comfortable, relaxed stay while going on safari in Gir NP (which, incidentally, was spectacular). The manager speaks good English and went out of his way to make sure everything was alright for us. The rooms were clean and modern, the staff consistently friendly and helpful and the restaurant food (veg) excellent. We didn't use it but the hotel has a link with another in the area with a swimming pool so if you're at a lose end for an afternoon.... Altogether highly recommended.
