Fantastic hotel to stay, the pictures don't do justice. Didn't know GRT has hotels. Very courteous and helpful staff. We had a long chat with the chef as well who accommodated food recommendations. The security was helpful as well in finding local transport. The rooms themselves were very clean and had some creative decor. Looks like the bathrooms were upgraded, very good shower system. This will be my go to hotel in kanchipuram and will consider other GRT brand hotels in other places, thank you for the hospitality.

Eagle Inn Stay is relatively a small hotel but yet provides all facilities expected of a reasonable hotel. The hotel is maintained well, clean and hygienic. The hotel Manager and the staff are very helpful and courteous - kudos 👍 It is perfect for a solo traveler or families coming to Kanchipuram to visit the many temples and be spiritually connected. It is just a stone throw away from the powerful Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple - a real marvel in all aspects ! The hotel is literally beside the beautiful Sri Ulagalanda Perumal Devastanam Temple - that can be enjoyed/worshipped from the balcony. Furthermore, there are several well known vegetarian outlets nearby the hotel.

Seamless check in. Valet parking. When driver was unavailable, manager himself parked my car. There was available autos for local tours from the hotel itself. Rooms were sparkling clean and bathroom too. All day round hot water supply was there. Overall super impressed. Had a great stay.

We had a wonderful experience at AKG Lodge. It’s a truly family-friendly hotel with excellent service. The rooms were clean and neat, and their baggage assistance service was very convenient. Even though we booked at the last minute, we were not disappointed. Overall, it was a very happy and peaceful stay — highly recommend!”

    Kanchi Kamakshi Ammavari temple is pleasant and peaceful... Felt like i am with my mother only, Timely prasadam several varities given by temple . Vishnu kanchi, Shiva kanchi temples are also good. Food from nithamrutam is good like homely food. Moreover stay in saibaba home stay is the main asset to felt happy in all the above.

    Kanchipuram can NOT be explained in words and any numbers of pages you write about Kanchi are still less than what it deserve. Few important places that one should/must visit in Kanchi are below - Kamakshi Amman Temple - Ekambareswarar Temple - Varada Raja Perumal Temple - Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham (near to Ekambareswarar Temple) - Kailasanathar Temple (old and under ASI but maintained well) NOTE: Most of the places are near by under 1km around except Varadaraja Perumal temple (which is around 4kms from Kamakshi amman temple)

    The temple times are limited and we have to plan accordingly A nice pilgrim centre with more than 15 perumal divya desams and umpteen number of shops for purchase of silk sarees and other dress materials Spicy and tasty food are available Well connected by bus and train Hospitality by people are amazing A must centre to visit

    Brilliant temple town where you feel transposed to a...

    Brilliant temple town where you feel transposed to a different world. Ancient and powerful temples - Kamakshi amman temple, Ekambareswarar temple to name a few. Shopping for silk sarees is another added attraction (and supporting local weavers).

    it is certainly a nice place except the entrance which looks like disputed & filthy. Rooms are large with good size bathrooms. I could have mentioned exceptional stay but room was infested with cockroaches which I did mentioned at reception.
