La Ceiba is not really somewhere to stay for too long as it's really just a port town that you stay before going to the islands. The staff were all super welcoming and lovely, the space itself is incredible and beautifully designed to incorporate nature, it really feels like a jungle oasis, with so many beautiful plants around, and the sounds of the birds and insects are incredible! You can really feel that a lot of love has been poured into designing and creating the lodge, and the river which it is nearby to is absolutely stunning, white water rafting was such a great wat to explore it!
