Set in attractive grounds in a small, typically Guatemalan community just outside (5 minutes by Uber) from the centre of Antigua, with stunning views of hills and volcanoes. Casa Buho is a family run bed and breakfast hotel with exceptional quality rooms. This was a great place to stay as we had already spent a month in town, but would also be good if you want to be away from the noise and bustle of the town.

All of the staff was so kind and welcoming. We originally booked this hotel for one night. But after going to our Airbnb, we rebooked the rest of our stay with las cruces. It is a home away from home. We felt like we were the only guests there. I love it and will come back!!

The experience was incredible, with warm hospitality.

The experience was incredible, with warm hospitality. The only challenge we faced was finding the place. The instructions were only provided via WhatsApp, which was tricky due to the poor signal in the area. It would have been helpful to have clearer directions or a more detailed map for visitors unfamiliar with the local area. For locals, it might be straightforward, but for us, it was a bit confusing. Despite this, the overall experience was worth it, and I highly recommend it!
