A traditional house in a very remote, wild and beautiful place. It's primitive, but that's typical for the village, and cosy. You should hike there from Ilulissat, 21 km. The H8 fantastic restaurant is 50m away.

We use Hotel Nuka as our base in Ilulissat, among various settlement stays in the Disko Bay. Hotel Nuka is an authentic hotel in the heart of Ilulissat. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is fully equipped and has a small kitchen to cook if you wish. The staff is friendly, too friendly. We felt like home. They provide transfers and pickup rides. This is too convenient. Hotel Nuka does not have view on the icebergs. But we didn't care about that. Because we choose other settlements stays for view.

Amazing place, super friendly staff, I even got gluten free buns packed for me for travel, that was super nice. It was cheaper than other hotels. There was kettle in the room, huge bonus.

I recently stayed at this amazing hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The sea view room I booked was nothing short of breathtaking! The view of the ocean was spectacular, and the room itself was impeccably designed and well-equipped, offering everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. This hotel is absolutely incredible! We spent 5 nights here and felt completely at home. The location is perfect in Ilulissat. The starting points of individual tours are easily accessible (also on foot), supermarkets are nearby. Various hiking trails start directly behind the hotel at the small power station, from where you have a perfect view of Disko Bay. From the balcony of the hotel we could see auroras and icebergs. The staff was super friendly and fulfilled our every wish. We would definitely come here again on another trip to Ilulissat! Beautiful hotel! 11 out of 10! :D

Im very glad I chose this place, I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay here. Center and hiking trails within walking distance, as well as grocery shops and post office. There also was delicious coffee and decent hair dryer in the apartment. Owner is a kind local man who speaks English very well.
