The rooms are cozy, exceptionally clean and offer a great view of the mountain. The Hotel is around 750m from the start of the TCT leading up to Utviri pass - a great choice for Hiker. The owner is very helpful and welcomed us a second time, after we had to retreat from the mountain after a thunderstorm. Though it was still morning we could enter the room immediately and could even wash our laundry in their washing machine. She also helped us to organize a transfer to our next destination. And last but not least: The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner if needed) was also great. Clear recommendation!

Our stay in Laias house was excellent. We were received as a part of the family and felt welcome from the vert first minute. A fantastic stopover on my way to Mestia by bike. The family were very kind, friendly and helpful and the home cooking was superb!
