Chakvi is one of the best resorts in Georgia. Very beautiful coastline with a great beach. It is easily accessible by train or private car, just 15-20 minutes from Batumi. The hotel is one of the best with excellent service. In addition, you can visit the local markets in just 5 minutes' walk. Black Sea Arena is very near -20 min. by car.., so, It is very good choice to spend the summer and early fall vacation. Sea is perfect. Very nice well kept territory. Towels by the pool and by the beach are changed every day using hotel card. Nice helpful hotel staff. Shopping center and market close by. Too many homeless dogs around, also on the beach, used to come by and settle on your towels. Too loud music by the swimming pool, from 10 am to 7 pm, mostly just rythm, difficult to stay long by the pool. This is a guesthouse not a hotel or an apartment. The information reported in booking is very misleading since if you book the apartment as advertised you will not get the whole apartment but you will have to share the apartment with the owners and a third room. That's just silly, especially during covid. Crazily expensive for the price, disgusting food and zero service. We left the place just after 2 nights as there was zero privacy.
