The ladies were very friendly and hospitable. We loved that when we arrived they prepared a nice dinner for us at a reasonable price. Salome is also a talented jewellery maker so don’t forget to ask her about the jewellery she has for sale. When we woke up the breakfast was reach and we even got fresh milk. The environment was very peaceful and family like.

I spent 4 days hiking to Ushguli and then got a matruska back to Mestia. I thought to myself that I needed someplace luxurious to stay for the night. I'm happy to say that my experience at Hotel gold tower exceeded my expectations I was first greeted by the warm smile of the lovely manager Sofia, who ensured my every request was catered for. The bed was heavenly for my tired muscles after the long difficult hike through the mountains! When I awoke I found one of the tastiest breakfasts I have ever enjoyed, waffles with berries, assortments of spreads, hot food and Khachapuri.
