This place is something special! Incredible surroundings in the mountains with lots of animals and history. The house is amazing and cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck upstairs. The Ethnic Hotel was the most beautiful and comfortable place we stayed at during our Omalo to Shatili Hike. It was the perfect combination of cosy and authentic, it looked and felt exactly like the old stone towers of the Shatili fortress, with a beautifully designed interior and comfortable beds. We also loved the shower with warm water and the delicious breakfast and view from the terrace! The hostess was the kindest woman and welcomed us with open arms! We would always choose to come back! The triple room was clean and spacious with a balcony, and had private bathroom, unlike most places in Shatili. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the owner as she spoke the local language, but she was nice to us.

Lovely stay! The host is very nice and the room was great - we enjoyed the living room and garden a lot! The food was very delicious too. We stayed two nights during our cycling trip. The host speaks a little French and English, which was great. Can very much recommend!
