We absolutely loved the location. It is atop a hill so a fairly steep climb but once you are in the city, castle and cathedral views are phenomenal! The Holi and Bhang restaurant serves some delicious food. The selection at breakfast was nice too. Excellent hospitality.

I was here visiting my daughter at Durham uni and we together stayed 9 nights at this beautiful hotel. Staff were generally very welcoming especially one lady at the front desk with warm smile. The room is spacious and everything needed is provided for. A short walk over the bridge will take you into the center. Highly recommended.
