Tenby is hilly with lots of small, interesting and quaint streets to wander around. Plenty of places to eat and drink even in high season. Signage of the coastal paths from the town centre could be better. Enjoyed the costal walks though they are very hilly but worth the effort. Beautiful beaches with life guard attendance. Tenby is a lovely seaside town with colorful buildings and a quaint downtown with lots of cute shops and restaurants. There are numerous beaches with a large swinging high/low tide that was fascinating to watch, especially how the boats in the harbor are in water part of the day and on sand another part. There are lots of coastal path walks either from Tenby or nearby. We took a bus to Manorbier, had a pint then walked the 7+ miles along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path back to Tenby. It was gorgeous. We know Tenby well so we knew what to expect. A lively atmosphere, beautiful beaches, fish and chips and ice cream are a must! Hilly and steps to the beach but if you can make it, worth the climb.
