We very much enjoyed the homey atmosphere of the Lister Arms. The food was delicious, the included breakfast quite filling-perfect for a full day of hiking. We felt very spoiled by the king sized bed, and it was very appreciated for a restful night. We loved the hikes around Malham and not having to worry about driving or parking, so the location was excellent. The pub had 4 choices of non-alcoholic beer: for those who don't drink, that's a great and rare offering!

Very well located, about 10mns walk from the station; The property is clean and well maintained. It has this warm and cozy feeling. Small hotel, staff are helpfull and friendly. The Table d'Hôtes menu is small with quality ingredients, the breakfast is so mouth watering I wanted to eat every dish from menu. The hotel is pet friendly, there are 2 beautiful restauants rooms. One more classy with a beautiful garden view, and the other "pet friendly room" with a more library atmosphere. The bedrooms are charming & comfortable. I had a very good night at Falcon Manor. I only stayed 1 night, and I will definetely come back when I'll have the opportunity to do so.

The breakfast was great, they ask you your preferences for time and food the day before. Also, we were able to leave our car during the day after checkout which was useful as we were spending a few more hours in the area.

It's a quiet peaceful village. There are 2 pubs, but no shops. However only a short drive or 15 minute walk along footpaths into Settle with more amenities. For children there is a large play area in the village, for dog owners some handy short walks.

Quiet little village only ten minutes walk from Settle but hidden away, far from the madding crowd. Two pubs serving excellent beer and food. Lovely walks along the stream where you can meet and talk with the friendly local people. Nearby is the famous chapel of Giggleswick School which is worth a visit.
