Great area to stroll around with a few shops of interest to browse through. It wasn’t at all busy. The sea view from our room was fantastic and the room was very cosy. The evening meal and breakfast menus were impressive too with a good selection of food. The staff were particularly friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The hotel is situated on a hill above the bay and offers a beautiful view of the whole area. We had a superior room with a fantastic view of the bay of Fowey and the sea. Our room was exceptionally well equipped, especially fine were the wonderful, huge bed and the spacious, bright bathroom, which also had a large window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One more note: the Negroni at the bar was also great! The whole village is exceptionally well-kept, there are lots of nice little shops, good restaurants/pubs and everything around was lush and green.

Incredible three night family holiday for grandparents, parents and 3yo child. Fowey Hall exudes luxury with very attentive staff; spacious comfortable rooms; excellent (and delicious) dining options; bars, cosy lounges and terraces with expansive views over the harbour and town. Our intergenerational family group felt very pampered, and our granddaughter declared it "the best holiday ever". Did I mention the kids club -- with a two hour free session each day; our tiny girl came back with art work, her face painted, and animal balloons, plus she'd made lots of new friends. She also loved story time (with mild and cookies); and the nightly movie with popcorn. To top it off, there are indoor and outdoor pools, and an adventure playground. We find that when our youngest family member is happily occupied, we're happy too!! We're already planning to come back next year for a repeat visit.

Fowey is a great place in good weather if you like boats and rivers and plenty of quaint and historical sites as well as individual shops and restaurants, pubs and cafes. It has a beach and boat trips and great walking trails on the coast path and river estuary. Around the harbour is flat but if you aren't able to walk up steep hills perhaps it's not the best place for you. Don't try to drive through the town!

We loved being so close to amenities and the port not far from our accommodation at Jackdaws, we also enjoyed walking to Readymoney Cove, it was so surreal. There are so many things to do, we weren’t short of attractions within and around Fowey, visiting Lahnydrock House, Mevagissy, and the very charming village of Mousehole. Fowey has some great eateries, so many choices + the convenience store was very close for groceries.

The views are stunning and just this is me factor would tempt me back. The lounge is very comfortable with lovely recliners in the window and binoculars provided. We spent long periods just watching boats, paddle-boards, ferries, even a cruise ship. The sofas and dining area is also very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The location is excellent and Belinda, the owner, was very helpful via text. Having parking right outside, and so near to Fowey centre, is a very big bonus because parking is difficult in the town.

The hotel was stunning, amazing views over Fowey (I have now realised it's pronounced Foy!) We got a room upgrade when we checked in which was a lovely surprise! The staff were very helpful and recommended Sam's restaurant down in the village, which we had already booked a table for. The facilities are excellent, we used the games room and the indoor pool, could have been slightly warmer, but minor issue, and didn't take away from our fantastic stay! Thank you!

The breakfast is always good and freshly cooked. Great view for breakfast and Nikki is a great asset to the hotel. Very friendly and super knowledgeable on the history of Fowey.

Modern, well designed barn conversion with all mod cons. Beautiful views over the valley and convenient for driving to Fowey and around the surrounding areas. Colin met us and gave us a useful overview of the property and also recommended a couple of good local walks. Would certainly consider staying again in the future

The location makes it a peaceful stay although only a 4 minute walk from the centre of Fowey so very easy to not use the car at all. The hotel is a fabulous building with an original lift which gives it character. The bar and restaurant have amazing views and there is a terrace with views as well.
