What a lovely property! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful before and during our stay. We had travelled for a course and needed somewhere comfortable, quiet and clean in the evenings. This was the place.

The welcome pack was a nice touch and unexpected. The well fenced garden was great for our dog. Lovely comfy bed and decor was nice. Loved the owl theme and butterfly pictures in bedroom, they are both my thing. Great to only have to go short way down road to get to walk through Forest of Dean. Nice big tv in lounge. Really quiet area.

    We should have stayed in Coleford. Poor Cinderford, I'm sure at one time it was a lively, thriving town but it's so rundown and everything looks tawdry and tatty. Lots of shops have shut down making it seem quite desolate. Would never go there again.

    Leaving the property in the morning knowing that we wouldn't...

    Leaving the property in the morning knowing that we wouldn't be back. despite having already paid for the second night's bed and breakfast. We drove through Cinderford on our way to the accommodation, and we were not tempted to explore the town any further. It had the look of a town that had seen better days.

    Unfortunately Cinderford is never going to rival the...

    Unfortunately Cinderford is never going to rival the Cotswold towns as it is not as old and is more industrial. It has the air of a neglected seaside town. You would only stay there to access the Forest of Dean.

    not suitable for people with mobility problems due to steep stairs every thing else was fine the breakfasts were lovely and beautifully cooked the room was large and very clean with towels changed every day the owners were lovely people and very helpful with plans to improve the hotel even more as covid has been a stumbling block we would not hesitate to return in the future we also had 2 evening meals at the hotel which were beautifully cooked and very good value for money so thankyou folks keep up the good work Dorothy Sherwin and Brian Nixon

    Very helpful n smiley Owner n staff.. Food at breakfast was best cooked we have had for a long time, Dinner was ok but too plentiful … Cinderford is gateway to Symonds yat but otherwise is a down at heel town suffering under investment ! White Hart inn requires further Do Up if it hopes to attract more custom…

    Great location short drive to town centre. Within a short distance to local attractions Symonds Yar, Forest of Dean sculpture trail. Peaceful beautiful area. A local pub with friendly staff a 5 minute walk away
