    Lovely setting - it really is a private beach there, and the restaurants (part of the Hotel) are great .. if a little pricey! We hired paddleboards £14 for an hour which was great, and if you get there when the tide is out you can walk all around the bay.

    Nothing to dislike about our stay from start to finish Doug was the perfect host and nothing was to much trouble for him . The place is a credit to him and the attention to detail is excellent. Thanks again Doug Mick & Lindsey oh and Lottie of course .

    Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives.

    Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives. Plenty of restaurants with different choice of food. Tried several and found them great. La casita Spanish tapas -lovely. Gannet Inn the staff so friendly and Sunday lunch very nice. Firehouse St Ives, lovely staff and great food. The beach area in Carbis bay is really beautiful with choice of food available, a really nice bar with stunning views and a coffee shop. It’s very easy to get around if you have a car and there is parking available in several different locations around carbis bay. The local supermarket is very convenient on the main road. Already looking forward to a return visit!

    Carbis Bay has a lovely sandy beach.

    Carbis Bay has a lovely sandy beach. Easy walk to StIves or to Porthkidney beach. Train station is very useful to travel without having to drive. Beach cafe serves delicious food. Lovely vibe at Carbis Bay .

    Another thing that 'really matters', when visiting this '...

    Another thing that 'really matters', when visiting this 'part of the World is 'Parking' ( Which can be a real nuisance in Winter ) and total 'hell' in summer...But The Badger Hotel is just a few minutes from the station ( with frequent trains to the centre of St Ives )...But as 'pointed out' by the Hotel, the bus stop is just 'over the road', so we went directly into the centre, in a 'matter of minutes'...( And believe me, it doesn't get better, than that...

    It was the perfect location to visit St.Ives and other areas in Cornwall. Carbis bay is stunning, but with an easy £1 train journey into St Ives.. Please note that if walking to the beach it may be difficult for people with limited mobility, due to the steep gradient.

    The hotel has a lovely garden and veranda. I had a double room and my friend a single. Both were clean, comfortable and quiet. Dawn and Paula at reception are friendly, welcoming and helpful, and they made our stay more enjoyable as we felt at home. The location is good - walking distance from the beautiful St. Ives and its beaches and a short bus ride if you want to avoid walking up the hill on the way back. Carbis Bay's also nearby and worth a visit. Considering the reasonable prices this is an excellent choice of hotel.

    We stayed in this very spacious 3-bedroom flat in Carbis Bay and couldn’t have been happier. As a family of four plus our mom, the accommodation was perfect for us, the bedrooms were large and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of space. The view was absolutely stunning and really was the cherry on top of the cake. We felt so relaxed and at home during our stay. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

    Apartment was bright, modern and comfortable with a lovely view. It had everything you need, from a bbq if the sun is shining to books, board games, small dvd selection, sky tv and even a games console if the weather isn't so great. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were the best we have ever had whilst staying away! Location is perfect if you love Carbis Bay beach and St Ives, would highly recommend it!

    The property was in the best location, right next to the bus stop and a 15 minute walk to either Carbis Bay beach or St Ives. The property was clean, fresh and perfect in size for what we needed. Douglas was an incredible host, very friendly and took the time to show us around and made us feel really at home.
