The perfect stay during a business trip. The amenities were exactly what I needed - loved the Dyson, GHD and the great Cowshed products. Comfy bed, loved the App to order dinner from the diner and ask questions to reception - they were always promptly answered, even after my stay when I requested an invoice.

FAQs about hotels in Bristol

From Brunel to Banksy!

Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol boasts Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the River Avon. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbour where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.

Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I-listed Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centres at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.

As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.

Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artists Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodation, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.

This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath railway line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.

Bristol is a great city with so much to do and something for everyone. There are so many bars and restaurants, museums and galleries, clubs and music venues that it would be impossible to ever get bored! Public transport is good and the city feels relatively clean. Best to avoid travelling there by car though - parking can be a bit of a nightmare and is not cheap.

Has a great vibe about it especially by the Waterfront with all the Galleries and bars etc. Clifton is walkable from this Hotel but be prepared for steep streets! Cabot Centre has lots of restaurants and shopping mall. Train and bus stations are easy to get to and on a few minutes walk away.

Bristol is such a lovely city.

Bristol is such a lovely city. Visit the Cathedral, take the epic "Blackbeard to Banksy" guided tour (and search for street art during every single walk in the centre) and visit the Cabot tower (109 steep, twisting steps lead to stunning views across Bristol). Walk across the suspension bridge which spans the River Avon (a stunning piece of engineering!). Dining is great in the shipping containers CARGO on the waterfront, home to a host of independent eateries (we loved the Indian street food at Bandook kitchen). Flying out of the Bristol Hot Air Balloon Fiesta with over 100 hot air balloons is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We stayed in the floating harbour area of Bristol which is busy and has a vibrant night life. It is also pretty central for getting to Bristol old centre and the shops. Walking and cycling is very easy around the city - special bike lanes and lots of bikes and scooters to hire. Great choice of restaurants within walking distance - we ate at COR and Box E. Both were excellent.

Bristol was fine, as always. I was there for a funeral, so I did not visit any of the attractions. I had paid for a second night, but went home, because the place I was staying in was so unsatisfactory.

We stopped off in Bristol for the night on our way to Pembrokeshire from Brighton. I would definitely recommend a stay in Bristol. In our short time we walked along the River Avon to see Banksy's Girl with Pearl Earring and the scenic Clifton Suspension bridge. The Clifton area of Bristol is beautiful with Georgian mansion houses alongside wide roads. We popped into the lovely Greville Smyth Park where my 14 year old (and I) had a play in the playground.

My friend and i traveled to Bristol to watch a show and I chose your hotel. We weren’t at all disappointed with anything while we stayed there. We both slept well, the beds and room was lovely, comfortable, clean and warm. The shower was great too. We weren’t very impressed and happy with the breakfast also, it filled us up for the rest of the day. Parking was very convenient and reasonable, and only a short walk in the city centre.
