Property is incredibly charming. Old house renovated in a way to preserve all the beautifull things of the past but with a smart blend included all modern comfort. House is taken care of with love and creativity. We had all and more then we needed. Hosts are super sweet people that make you feel at home. Really excellent small hotel run by two Dutchmen who speak 4 languages. And who take pride in cooking several plats du jour. Also much better breakfast than you usually get in France. They have refurnished the hotel with good taste, style, panache and unfailing good humour. Sadly they see very few English so come on chaps and make the detour. Our Basset Hound also enjoyed their stay.

This castle was built in the 19th century and is the ideal location to discover the charm of the Champagne region. The Domainde Barive and its staff are pleased to welcome you.

Spacious room with many useful extras (e.g. steam ironing unit). We came with a dog and the room was prepared with a dog mat with eating and drinking bowls. The restaurant is superb as is the breakfast.
