The staff was so nice there. We actually broke a stool during our last day and they just told us that they wanted to replace it anyway. The view is amazing although it is still further from the beach than we expected. I still strongly recommend the property. We fell in love with that place.

    The little hamlet does not have too many facilities but...

    The little hamlet does not have too many facilities but shops, etc are a short drive. Admittedly you have narrow country roads for a few minutes to access but there is little local traffic and always passing places. The stunning beauty and central location of this place is perfect for touring all parts of the region. There is so much which is easily accessible -10 mins from the beautiful coast of Barneville-Carteret, just 30 mins from some of the interesting D Day landing beaches (Quinneville WW2 private museum a must), 30 mins from Cherbourg -short journey for ferries to Uk and Ireland. Jersey ferry 15 mins from Carteret so day trip to channel isles possible.

    Perfect peace and quiet in the countryside but in a good...

    Perfect peace and quiet in the countryside but in a good position to tour Normandy. The host is a real gentleman, friendly and VERY helpful. Studio is clean, new, modern and has all the basics, including a BBQ. Very spacious with a large garden and outdoor areas.
